On Tuesday, April 8, join us as we welcome Academy Award® Winning Actress and bestselling author, Julie Andrews, who will be on hand for a special appearance and signing of her autobiography, titled Home: A Memoir of My Early Years. For the first time ever, this Hollywood icon relives her early days in an honest, touching and revealing memoir. Beginning in 1935, when Julie was born to an aspiring vaudevillian mother, the book takes readers through 1962, when Walt Disney himself saw her on Broadway in Camelot, and cast her as the world's most famous nanny. Filled with numerous personal photos and anecdotes of her time on Broadway, this is exactly the kind of memoir Julie Andrew's audiences have been waiting for.

Book Signing Information:
Home: A Memoir of My Early Years will be available for $26.95, plus tax at the Art of Disneyland Gallery at shop opening. Limit ONE (1) book per Guest. Wristbands will be required for purchase, please see guidelines below. Academy Award® Winning Actress and bestselling author, Julie Andrews will be on hand for a special appearance and signing in the Main Street Opera House from 1 PM – 3 PM.

Limit ONE (1) book signed per Guest. Special Appearance Guest will only sign their respective merchandise. We ask that you bring no personal items to be signed. Artist appearances are subject to space and availability and are not guaranteed. Subject to change without notice. Please Note: No book personalization and/or personal photographs will be permitted during the signing.

Wristband Guidelines:
Wristbands will be distributed entitling bearers the opportunity to purchase Home: A Memoir of My Early Years released in association with the product release & signing. Wristbands for the book will be distributed near the West Esplanade Guest Information Kiosk one hour prior to park opening until one hour past the opening of Disneyland® park. Wristbands will then be available at the location until 12 Noon or while supplies last. In addition, holding a place in line for others in your party will not be allowed. Guests who wish to obtain a wristband to purchase the book must be present when the line forms or they will be escorted to the back of the line.

Wristbands will be valid for the purchase of the book at the designated merchandise location until 1:00 PM on the day of distribution. Wristbands are limited. At 1 PM any remaining books will be available for purchase at the designated merchandise location by persons who have not previously purchased the book on the day of release. Theme park admission required. Lost, stolen or damaged wristbands will not be replaced. Wristbands have no cash value. Restrictions apply. Subject to change without notice.

Admission is required to enter Disneyland® Resort theme parks.
