The Art of Disney Parks

As a Principal Concept and Show Designer at Walt Disney Imagineering, Larry Nikolai has helped to create attractions for Disney parks around the world. His design efforts are enjoyed by guests at Disney California Adventure, Walt Disney World Magic Kingdom and EPCOT®, Disneyland Paris®, Tokyo Disneyland® and Tokyo DisneySea.

Larry has designed, sculpted and painted many collectible items for the galleries at Disneyland® Resort, Walt Disney World® and Disney Cruise Lines, as well as the Disney Classics Collection and The Disney Store.

With a background as both a classically trained fine artist and an animation designer, his goal is to bring a unique pose and dramatic touch to the composition of every character portrait he paints.

Larry is currently the creative director and show designer for the upcoming "The Little Mermaid- Ariel's Undersea Adventure" attraction at both Disney California Adventure™ and Magic Kingdom® in Florida. .
