If Jody Daily had a motto, it would be "fresh art served Daily." His prodigious output includes painting, sculpture, ceramics, storybook illustration, scenic design, commercial art, and art restoration. He has created theme-park environments and parades for the Walt Disney Company, for whom he also designed collectible merchandise in collaboration with Kevin Kidney. The thousands of items they created include detailed miniatures of Disneyland attractions, stained-glass lamps, and ceramic tiki mugs; in 2005, Jody and Kevin received national attention and acclaim for the over 200 items they designed to mark Disneyland's 50th Anniversary. Although he was proud to be called a "Disney Artist," Jody has since struck out on his own, launching a successful career as an illustrator and designer. His fine-art work reflects his love of mid-century Americana, animals, and cooking (though not always the cooking of animals).
