David Bird is an artist living in the mountains of Utah about ten minutes from the Sundance Ski Resort. After graduating from Brigham Young University with degrees in design and anthropology, David worked in various design firms around the country. In 2001 David read some books about stained glass and knew that he had to explore the art form. He found instruction books, bought supplies, and started creating. It was the perfect medium for him to be able to combine design and all the colors in the world. Designing with light. He has been working in the "Tiffany" style of stained glass and fused glass and has been working with Disney since 2003! David currently resides in Orem, Utah with his lovely wife, Leslie, and four great kids: Troy, Ashley, Brittany, and Rachel who support him through all of his late nights in the studio.
